People in rural or underserved communities are often at a disadvantage when it comes to accessing healthcare, and that's why we began opening rural health clinics to improve access in the regions we serve. We are looking for physicians interested in working within our 40 (and growing) community care system. Adventist Health has one of the largest networks of rural health clinics in California, representing 20 percent of the rural health clinics in the state. We are also one of the largest in the nation, providing care to more than 530,000 individuals in underserved rural communities.

Position Summary

In a region dubbed “the world's fruit basket”, the Central Valley is located roughly 30 miles south of Fresno and offers a convenient 90 minute drive to either California's central coast or the Sierra Nevada Mountains, providing access to year round adventure.

Adventist Health is looking for physicians to expend women's health services in our rural health community. The Birth Center at Adventist Health Hanford offers you and your baby a state-of-the-art birthing facility designed for comfort and optimal care. We have 11 spacious private labor and delivery rooms, two surgery suites, and 16 postpartum rooms along with a 6 bed neonatal intensive care unit operated by Valley Children's Healthcare.

Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.
