Job Details

The UConn Health Department of Family Medicine, with a longstanding, strong national reputation , is expanding its faculty and seeks a clinician-educator at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join our full spectrum family medicine practice in Canton. The ideal candidate is a high-quality clinician with interest and/or expertise in teaching.
  • Initially the position will be principally clinical with some medical student teaching; educational and research/scholarly activity anticipated in subsequent years as the faculty practice group grows.
  • Obstetrics a plus, though not required.
  • Applicants must possess a license to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut.
  • Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and congruent with AAMC Faculty Salary table guidelines. Position is available immediately.
We are also seeking family medicine physicians for clinically focused positions for the provision of primary care in the outpatient setting. These positions would be ideal for new/recent graduates looking to practice and develop in a supportive and collegial setting.
