Pediatric EM Physician

TeamHealth has an exciting opportunity for Pediatric Emergency Medicine trained physician to join our emergency department team in Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, Florida. Orange Park Medical Center is an award winning hospital in Coastal Northeast Florida. This clinician will practice in our main ED seeing both adult and pediatric patients. We ask that you be trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine with fellowship and Emergency Medicine residency completed. Our physicians enjoy exceptional rapport with Orange Park Medical Center's medical staff, referring physicians and the county's Emergency Medical Services. Orange Park is getting a brand new EM residency program in July 2019, so you will have the opportunity to work with residents. Our full-time physicians work minimum 120 hours a month, and we have a scribe for every physician shift. Orange Park features a very supportive administrative staff and clinicians are highly respected among medical staff. The ED offers full specialty backup and physician and advanced practice clinician coverage. Our highly-paid ED physicians are independent contractors with fully paid professional liability coverage including tail.

Our ED provides 52 treatment bays with four rooms that can quickly be converted in order to accommodate psychiatric patients. The ED treats approximately 65,000 patients per year which includes the adult ED, pediatric ED, and Express Care. Our length of stay if below the national average. In additional to two state-of-the-art Interventional Cardiovascular Catheterization labs, a full complement of ancillary services including 64-slice CT scan, on-site laboratory, decontamination tent, and air medical services transport are available.
