EM Physician

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to join our Emergency Department team at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky. Our ED provides excellent specialty back-up and we can offer you travel reimbursement if you live 75 miles outside of the Maysville community. Option of $100K sign-on bonus or $150K student loan repayment available for a qualified candidates. Our new 12-bed ED has a 21,500 annual patient volume averaging 1.9 patients per hour with low-medium acuity.

We provide supportive and well-staffed nursing, a 25-minute door to needle time for interventional cardiology, as well as our TeamHealth Hospital medicine program. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Other requirements include current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Meadowview Regional Medical Center, a 100-bed acute care facility that is Joint Commission-accredited, provides medical services to a seven-county area. The hospital is a five-time winner of the 100 Top Hospital award. In 2009, Meadowview completed a $6 million dollar renovation to the Emergency Department. Services include 24-hour ER, six-bed ICU/CCU, and Diagnostic Imaging that includes X-ray, 64-slice CT Scanning, Brand new ED Mindray touch Ultrasound, Radiographic/Fluoroscopic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Digital Mammography. Other services include Allergy, Anesthesiology, Cardiac Catheterization, ENT, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Podiatry, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Hematology/Oncology, Same-Day Surgery, Pulmonology, Respiratory Therapy, Urology and Sleep Studies.
