Gynecologic Oncologist - Texas Oncology Tyler
Texas Oncology is looking to hire a Gynecologic Oncologist to cover its East Texas market area. This is an amazing opportunity for a physician that is interesting in introducing a service line currently unserved by a full time Gynecologic Oncologist with a population of over one million residents while being supported by the largest oncology practice in the state of Texas. We have identified at least 300 new patients annually. This, along with our robust Phase One Research Program, that will include access to Gynecologic Oncology clinical trials, compliments our network's leading Hem/Onc research initiative making this a unique and exciting opportunity for a hard-working and motivated physician. This physician will work closely with 20 Medical Oncologists and 5 Radiation Oncologists and will conduct all surgeries in Tyler, Texas, where this physician will reside. The local hospital where surgeries will take place has the newest and most modern DiVinci Robotics available.
Tyler is a boutique city in the heart of the piney woods of East Texas just an hour and a half outside of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Known as the "Rose Capital of the World", Tyler was once the epicenter of the East Texas Oil Boom of the early 20 th century and is one of the wealthiest and most desired locations in the state. Tyler also boasts a robust offering to residents by way of the world class Caldwell Zoo, the Cowan Performing Arts Center, its own symphony orchestra, a four-year university with UT-Tyler and one of the largest junior colleges in the state with Tyler Junior College.
