Job Details

Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, a member of the WMCHealth Network, is seeking a Director of Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) to join the faculty of the Division of Cardiology, with a potential joint appointment in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Maria Fareri’s Children’s Hospital.

Under the direction of Julio A. Panza, MD, Chief of Cardiology, and Dr. Michael Gewitz, Chief of Pediatric Cardiology, the incumbent will establish this program to be one of the premier ACHD programs in the nation, including the development of an accredited training program in ACHD. This program will benefit from the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital’s congenital heart disease program which is already well established and sits on the same campus as Westchester Medical Center.

Position Requirements:

  • New York State Medical license or eligible for licensure
  • BC/BE in adult congenital heart disease
  • Fellowship training or extensive experience in adult congenital heart disease
  • Strong clinical competencies
  • Leadership and organizational skills
