Hospitalist

TeamHealth is actively interviewing board certified or board eligible Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained Hospitalists to join our Hospitalist team at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Lewisburg, West Virginia. This is a 6.5 physician and 1 advanced practice clinician team. Physicians practice in 12-hour shifts in a 7 days on, 7 days off block schedule.

Greenbrier Valley Medical Center is a 122-bed facility in Ronceverte, West Virginia. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and offers a broad range of services, including 24-Hour Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Critical Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Newborn Nursing Unit, Oncology, Orthopedics and many other specialties. In addition to providing a comprehensive range of care, Greenbrier Valley is well-recognized for its excellence in quality and patient safety. In 2018, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicaid Services awarded the facility a four star quality and safety rating, above the national average for patient safety, infection prevention and timeliness of care. Greenbrier Valley Medical Center is a teaching facility for West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine with a Family Medicine residency program, so teaching opportunities may be available for those with academic interests.
