Excellent Endocrinology Opening in Danbury, CT (Fairfield County, 60 miles from NYC)

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist to join our established and busy employed practice in Danbury, Connecticut, (Fairfield County) located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes three Endocrinologists and three APRNs and excellent support staff. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team with some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. Position is mainly outpatient based with some inpatient consults at Danbury Hospital, located just minutes from the office. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations as we continue to grow the practice to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base.

Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital is part of Western Connecticut Health Network, which also includes New Milford and Norwalk Hospitals as well as over 70 outpatient practice locations. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 400+ physicians and 140+ advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Danbury, Connecticut, in Fairfield County, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT.
