Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H) is seeking an exceptional Staff Physician in the Section of Infectious Disease and International Health (IDIH) within the Department of Medicine. The successful candidate will have dedicated clinical, academic and research time in our academic medical center recently ranked the #1 hospital in New Hampshire by U.S. News and World Report.

The position qualifies for a faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth at a rank commensurate with experience. The successful candidate must also have active clinical responsibilities, have a track record of working towards scholarly achievement, and possess excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills, as well as administrative ability. The position includes telehealth opportunities and work with outside hospitals that do not have designated infectious disease providers on curbside consultations.

Qualifications:
  • BC/BE in Infectious Disease
  • Eligible for a New Hampshire medical license

The Section of Infectious Disease and International Health at Dartmouth-Hitchcock consists of eleven faculty members and seven fellows, along with associate providers, nursing staff, research and administrative staff. The clinical services of our Section include Hospital-based and outpatient consultations for the full spectrum of infectious diseases of adults and children, an International Travel Clinic, a comprehensive Infection Control Program staffed by physician epidemiologists and infection preventionists, an Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy program, and a Regional HIV Program, which provides multidisciplinary care to persons with HIV in Lebanon, Manchester, Nashua, New Hampshire and in Brattleboro, Vermont.
