Nephrologist job in Missouri is accepting applicants interested in a 2018 or 2019 start.

We have a busy three (3) physician practice with a fourth starting in the summer of 2019 but still need one more motivated and personable nephrologist to manage the current and future patient volume. The practice has been serving the community and surrounding area for nearly 30 years. Initially, a private physician owned practice, it was recently acquired by the area hospital. While the ownership has changed the physicians care plans and structure has not. The transition was seamless as the practice has been the sole provider of renal in the area for the past three decades.
The physicians have a reputation for quality with their patients and peers. Despite busy schedules the physicians are able to maintain an easy-going nature and provide support and transparency to one another. Balancing work and personal time is of high importance. The office is five minutes from the hospital and the majority of the dialysis centers are short commutes. Weekly rotating helps balance some of the driving and coverage for outlying clinics.
Enjoy the small town feel of a community that isn’t so small. Affordable housing, low crime rates and excellent educational options for children and young adults are some of the great things St. Joseph, MO has to offer. A mere 50 miles from Kansas City, with the international airport in between puts you on the outer edge of a major metropolitan location. Practically a suburb. There are some suburbs that could be commutable but we think you will appreciate all the city has to offer and enjoy becoming a part of the community.
We are seeking a candidate that is motivated, personable and has a desire to make a long-term commitment to our practice and community.
