Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Section of Ophthalmology is seeking a second BC/BE fellowship trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our current Pediatric Ophthalmologist to provide Pediatric and General medical and surgical eye care for our Academic Medical Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), educational support for residency training programs, participation in the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD), and will contribute to the academic mission of the group.

The position includes a generous salary, relocation, dedicated CME time and funds, and a faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be requested, commensurate with experience and academic track record. This provider will be based at the DHMC Lebanon campus.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited residency training program in Ophthalmology. Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology is required. Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology is required.

As New Hampshire's only children's hospital , CHaD encompasses an extended regional system of pediatric services and is committed to providing outstanding, compassionate care for children and their families. Our Ophthalmology practice includes 9 ophthalmologists with subspecialists in Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Oculo-Plastics, Neuro-Ophthalmology and Pediatric Ophthalmology. In addition, we have 2 Optometrists and 2 Orthoptists.

Our multi-specialty clinic includes ophthalmic testing facilities (OCT, HVF, GVF, Photography) and minor surgical procedure rooms, as well as YAG, Argon and SLT Lasers. Surgery is conducted in both the hospital based operating room and an Outpatient Surgery Center located on the DHMC campus in Lebanon. We have affiliations with the nearby White River Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Optometry and Ophthalmology practices in both Keene and Manchester, New Hampshire.
