A hospital in North Carolina is seeking a hospitalist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately four months from mid-August to late December with a possible extension. On the job, the provider will see adult patients for vent management, intubations, and EKG interpretation. Preferred skills include central lines, arterial lines, elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations, and I&D. The locum will work shifts of varying duration. This facility uses the Meditech EHR and will provide training.
