Job Details
CHA is recruiting for a General Practice Dentist to provide clinical and academic leadership within CHA's Department of Dentistry and the CHA/Harvard School of Dental Medicine's (HDSM) General Practice Residency Program.
- Full time opportunity includes dedicated time for clinical, academic and administrative duties
- In addition to clinical work, incoming Dentist will be responsible for HDSM curriculum development, precepting and didactics, Grand Rounds, faculty development, resident performance, and participation in conferences and lectures
- Oversight and mentorship of all dental support staff excluding the Dental Leadership Team, including department providers, hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative support.
- Incoming provider will actively participate and contribute to site and department quality and process improvement initiatives
Qualified candidates must have a DDS or DMD and successful completion of a general dental practice residency program. Ideal candidates will have a passion for providing the highest quality healthcare to the socioeconomically and culturally diverse patients of our community. Excellent communication skills, collegial and team based approach to care and a desire to engage and invest in our Department of Dentistry preferred.
