A hospital in Illinois is seeking a orthopedist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three months starting in mid- March, with chance of extension. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, provide consultation, treat and medically and surgically manage patients with reconstructive treatment of musculoskeletal disease, disorders, and sequelae of injuries in this anatomic region (foot/ankle). Background experience should include amputations, arthrodesis, bone graphing, excisional arthroplasty, osteotomy, prosthetic arthroplasty. The provider should expect to see about 25 patients per day including surgeries. The provider will work a Monday through Friday time schedule as well as on call. This facility uses Epic EMR.
