Adventist Health, St. Helena Hospital's Martin-O'Neil Cancer Center , located in the beautiful Napa Valley is seeking an experienced clinician-leader to serve as Medical Director for its cancer program. The Cancer Center provides a full spectrum of cancer services in medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology and diagnostic imaging, access to clinical trials through an affiliation with UCSF and onsite Clinical Trials Coordinator, oncology nurse navigation, psycho-social support and wellness services to patients.
The successful candidate will be board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology and possess strong clinical, communication and consultation skills, as well as a patient-first focus.
Existing patient base so incoming physician will be busy from day one. Clinic includes one primary location and an outreach clinic one day every other week. Hospital coverage is limited to a single hospital, so travel is limited. You will have onsite support of radiation oncology, surgery and nurse practitioners. Adventist Health St. Helena (AHSH) is a premier destination facility and the longest continually operating Seventh-day Adventist hospital, offering innovative wellness programs and other quality health care services in the Napa Valley region. AHSH includes 151 licensed hospital beds, 61 psychiatric beds at the Center for Behavioral Health in Vallejo and 14 rooms for residential wellness programs. Services include addiction treatment and behavioral health, regional Heart and Vascular Center, home care, maternity, occupational medicine, orthopedics, outpatient cancer center, sleep disorders center, surgery, 12 outpatient clinics and specialist offices and the St. Helena Center for Health.
