Job Details
Serves as the Primary Care Manager (PCM) and physician, with responsibility to provide emergency or other outpatient primary care to include diagnosing and treating warriors, ordering ancillary testing as appropriate, and making specialty referrals when needed. In an outpatient clinic, performs a wide range of medical duties covering diagnosis and disability processing/determination. Reviews medical records, examines patients, orders and reviews consultations, and evaluates the full range of radiology and laboratory tests, makes diagnoses, and prescribes treatment. May be required to dictate the Medical Evaluation Board Narrative Summary in accordance with Army Regulations, for reporting to the Physical Evaluation Board. Serves as the Company Primary Care Physician for up to 200 clinically complex or seriously wounded Warriors.
Must maintain current Medical Officer licensure and Basic Life Support certification. Must have a yearly mandatory influenza immunization. Is part of a mandatory drug testing program.
