TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to join our Hospitalist team at Barstow Community Hospital in Barstow, California. We are actively interviewing board certified or board eligible Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained Hospitalists to join our team. Barstow Community Hospital is part of the Community Health Systems and provides inpatient and outpatient services in addition to medical, surgical and emergency care. Our physicians work 12-hour shifts and take call at night from a hotel room provided to you by our organization. Barstow is a 24-bed community hospital that is accredited by the Joint Commission. The city of Barstow is located in the Inland Empire North region of San Bernardino County, midway between Las Vegas and Los Angeles in the western Mojave at the entrance to the Mojave National Preserve. It is home to the U.S. Army National Training Center at Ft. Erwin and offers all the major conveniences of small-town living with the resources of major metropolitan areas only a short drive away.
