RWJBarnabas Health is currently searching for a physician leader with board-certification in Hematology/Oncology for a new leadership position affiliated with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ). Affiliated with Community Medical Center, this new role will will be instrumental in developing a new hematology/oncology clinical program in Toms River. In addition, the new Director will have an immediate opportunity to recruit a second physician to join their practice. This new physician leader will join RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers CINJ during a period of significant investment in oncology services across the state. Located in the heart of the Jersey Shore, this position is based near famous boardwalks, waterfront views, and local community attractions.

We are seeking exceptional clinical leaders that excel in program development, relationship-building, and possess the entrepreneurial skills needed to establish success. This role offer generous compensation, health insurance, malpractice, and 401k with company match.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board-certified in Hematology/Oncology, ideally with clinical expertise in solid organ tumors
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
  • Accomplished leadership and relationship-building skills, as well as oncology program expansion experience
