Family Medicine Faculty Physician

Anchorage, Alaska - Seeking a full scope B/C Family Medicine physician for a faculty position. Full-time position. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. Prior teaching/precepting experience is preferred, but graduating residents will be considered. Ideal candidate will show the ability and willingness to collaborate with other academic units and clinics, strong background or interest in academic primary care, conducting research and publication production. As well as a successful track record of leadership, particularly in organizing and building programs. Providence Alaska Medical Center with the help of the state of Alaska, federal government, University of Washington School of Medicine, Alaska Native Medical Center and a number of other state and regional agencies have created our dually accredited residency program to help develop future family physicians who desire to serve in rural communities like Alaska. As faculty, you will have the opportunity to train our future physicians with excellent on-site resources. Work with a great team of faculty members alongside motivated residents in the beautiful and welcoming city of Anchorage, located in the heart of Alaska’s scenic grandeur.
