The Department of Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the tenure track. Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Board certification in Infectious Diseases is required.

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding academician to serve as Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases. The Division is nationally recognized for excellence in clinical care, research, and education, and includes 16 faculty members and a number of ancillary staff. The Division has nationally prominent research programs in bacterial pathogenesis, viral pathogenesis, vaccine development, clinical epidemiology, antibiotic stewardship, and infection control. In addition, the Division has a longstanding ACGME-accredited fellowship program that consistently attracts the top candidates in the country. The successful candidate will have opportunities for major interactions with other relevant groups at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania and will benefit from resources and a stimulating and collaborative environment within the Department of Pediatrics, throughout the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and across the University of Pennsylvania.
