Mineola, Long Island, NY. NYU Winthrop Hospital, a world-class 591-bed university-affiliated medical center and a major regional healthcare resource with a deep commitment to patient care, education and clinical research, is seeking a full-time, vascular surgeon for its multispecialty surgical service. This opportunity requires inpatient, OR, and ambulatory practice responsibilities and comes with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. 

Applicants must have general open vascular and endovascular expertise, carotid and aortic stenting; minimally invasive venous procedure skills, dialysis access and venous ablation. Within the service’s ambulatory practice there is also an in-house accredited vascular lab.

Our newly-built center, accredited by the Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, includes an innovative procedure room where expert surgeons treat patients with varicose veins, venous insufficiency, malfunctioning dialysis access, peripheral artery disease, and aid in the insertion and removal of central venous access devices. Our center also features a full time Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory certified by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, where arterial and venous studies are performed efficiently and effectively by dedicated vascular technologists.
