Acute Care Trauma Surgery opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut.

Trinity Health Of New England—the region's largest nonprofit health system—is seeking an Acute Care Trauma Surgeon to join our expanding faculty practice.   In this role, you will provide surgery services for trauma, critical care and acute care within a high-performing Level I Trauma Center at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Our hospital is a tertiary referral center with a robust group of consultants and specialists.

The successful candidate will be BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care, and advanced training in Trauma/Acute Care Surgery is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in trauma research outcomes and publication. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an elite surgical group and to be appointed to the faculty of both the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. In our major teaching hospital, you will have the opportunity to conduct clinical research and teach graduate and undergraduate medical and surgical learners. Surgery residents are present year-round, and experienced advanced practitioners provide ample coverage in all service areas, including the intensive care units.
