NEUROLOGIST with Epilepsy focus
MASSACHUSETTS, CAMBRIDGE - NEUROLOGIST with Epilepsy focus:
Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital serving the greater Cambridge, MA area seeks an experienced neurologist with an expertise in EEG and Epilepsy. The ideal candidate should have completed an Epilepsy fellowship, but also possess a strong interest in all of clinical neurology. The responsibilities of this position are to provide mostly outpatient neurology care, but also to provide inpatient and emergency care in rotation with the rest of the neurology attending staff. The candidate would read EEGs while helping the hospital start a long-term EEG monitoring program. Medical education is a key responsibility as well; the selected neurologist will provide education of attending physicians, medical residents, and medical students by contributing regularly to Medical Grand Rounds, Neurology Grand Rounds, and all activities of the Division of Neurology. The incumbent will also receive a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School at the Instructor or Assistant Professor rank. Candidates must be board certified in neurology.
