Thoracic Surgeon opportunity in Connecticut.

The Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a fellowship-trained Thoracic Surgeon to join a growing team at Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut with additional coverage at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Our physicians value their patients and colleagues above all else and thrive as the driving force within our integrated health care delivery system—serving a population of more than 3 million people.

This is a full-time position with an established group. This practice will allow you to provide a variety of services, including surgical procedures, outpatient visits and inpatient rounds. In this role, you can demonstrate your skills and experience in coronary and valvular heart surgery. Join a nationally-recognized CV Surgery team in one of New England's highest-volume cardiac surgery programs.  Here, you'll have a great referral base thanks to our integration with Trinity Health Of New England physicians, who send cardiac, thoracic, pulmonary and oncology patients to this department. The ideal candidate should have TAVR experience and have demonstrated proficiency, or interest in, performing thoracic surgeries or utilizing endovascular approaches for aortic disease treatments.

Practicing in Waterbury, Connecticut puts you in the heart of New England. This small city environment of 300,000 residents offers a tremendous selection of welcoming neighborhoods in which to live, excellent public and private schools, great restaurants, shopping, music, museums and historical areas. The central New England location puts you in close proximity to New York City and Boston with easy access to dependable air and rail services.

As part of Trinity Health Of New England—the region's largest nonprofit health system—you'll experience a culture of provider collaboration. Our practice model empowers physicians to work at their highest level, while allowing time for professional development and family life. If you are focused on providing outstanding patient-centered care, you will thrive within the Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.
