Hematology and Oncology
The Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Columbia University Medical Center has been undergoing several years of unprecedented clinical growth and is interested in hiring an investigator at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This position is for a clinician investigator with a primary focus in non-malignant hematology. We are particularly interested in research n thrombotic diseases, bleeding disorders, and hemoglobinopathies. Through preexisting collaborations there is the opportunity to quickly develop interdisciplinary projects with pulmonary/critical care, obstetrics/gynecology, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurology/neurosurgery, and genomic medicine. We view this position as part of the foundation to our goal of establishing a basic science research program in non-malignant hematology and enhancing our reputation for clinical excellence in hemostatic and thrombotic disorders.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates require MD or equivalent medical professional degree, must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology, and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.
