As we expand our interventional pulmonary services across Northwell Health, we are seeking a Director of Interventional Pulmonary at Lenox Hill Hospital. This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead and develop the interventional pulmonary services at LHH. Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonary is a must.

The bronchoscope suite at LHH is state of art and recently constructed. All equipment covering the entire spectrum of interventional procedures is state of art. The division enjoys collegial relationship with its thoracic surgical colleagues since both divisions are in fact part of the lung center.

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine first opened its doors in the 1980s with one faculty member; it has grown to become a faculty of over 35 dedicated physicians in pulmonary, critical care medicine and sleep medicine.  Our faculty is nationally and internationally recognized for its expertise in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, and we boast innovative clinical research and graduate medical education programs.

The Division offers comprehensive and individualized care for adult patients with a broad array of lung diseases, critical illness and sleep disorders. We have specialized centers for pulmonary hypertension and advanced lung disease, cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis, asthma and sleep medicine. Our interventional pulmonary medicine physicians are using cutting edge technology for minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disorders including lung cancer.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
