Non-invasive Cardiologist

Lee Health, recognized nationally for clinical quality and service, is seeking an experienced non-invasive cardiologist to serve as Heart Failure Program Medical Director for the Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI). The successful applicant will provide medical directorship over the heart failure program as well as provide clinical care to patients. The HVI Heart Failure Program Medical Director will be responsible for the development of clinical programs and initiatives to provide coordinated efficient, high quality care across the continuum of care for heart and vascular patients.

Lee Health is seeking a Heart Failure Program Medical Director who is focused on early detection and treatment of heart failure patients utilizing evidence based interventions. The successful candidate will build partnerships and devise innovative workforce solutions to deliver excellent patient care. The Heart and Vascular Institute is based at the Health Park Medical Center in Fort Myers where there is access to leading edge equipment, technology, and connectivity with our referring hospitals and all of the outpatient centers through EPIC.

The successful candidate:

• Completed an Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship
• Board certified/Board eligible in Cardiology/Heart Failure
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience in advanced heart failure treatment
• Possess a valid Medical License to practice in the State of Florida
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
