Geisinger, a premier tertiary care medical system on the east coast, serving the northeast and central Pennsylvania regions, is recruiting BC/BE Female Pelvic Medicine Reconstructive Surgery Urogynecologist to our growing multidisciplinary team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center(GWV), located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 274 beds, and houses the only Level II trauma center in Luzerne County. The campus includes the Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, the Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital, the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital Pediatric Unit and a transplant program. Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre is GWV’s ambulatory/short stay surgical campus. The outpatient center is located adjacent to General Ob/Gyn and primary care practices and is equipped for the full range of outpatient procedures. There are robotic systems at the GWV main hospital. Colleagues in colorectal surgery, female urology, physical therapy are well established in the system, and provide multidisciplinary care for complex patient issues.
