The Duke University Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a pulmonary physician with special interest in Academic Sleep Medicine to join the faculty. Interested candidates will be board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. They will have demonstrated success in their career at an academic center with an interest in career development in academic practice and clinical research settings.
This faculty role includes staffing outpatient clinics, interpretation of sleep studies, and participation in clinical research studies. The position is mainly clinical, though research is encouraged. Independent funding is not a pre-requisite for appointment. Candidates with extra-mural funding are encouraged to apply. The focus will be on continuing independent clinical, translational, or basic research and in caring for patients with sleep disorders. Successful candidates will participate in our ACGME-accredited fellowship programs in Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care.
