Department of Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City and Westchester; with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. The Department of Neurosurgery brings together the vast resources of Northwell Health and the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education, and research.
The Feinstein Institute currently has more than 2,000 research studies being conducted with more than 15,000 participants enrolled each year. Our state-of-the-art laboratories provide the infrastructure needed to conduct groundbreaking, disease-oriented research. They also house the largest genotyping facility in the State of New York. The Feinstein Institute ranks in the top 5th percentile of all National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants awarded to research centers.

Southside Hospital is a 341-bed hospital with physicians, nurses, and staff who provide health care services in all medical specialties. Our centers of excellence include Cardiology, Orthopedics, Neuroscience, and Women’s Health. The Department of Neurosurgery has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City, and Westchester; with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services.

Salary Disclosure
Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
