Seeking a full-time Acute Care Surgeon BE/BC in Surgical Critical Care
Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Acute Care Surgeon BE/BC in Surgical Critical Care to join the faculty at our Long Island Jewish Medical Center campus (in New Hyde Park, NY). This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Clinician Educator in a high acuity academic environment with a very supportive and experienced team.
The qualified candidate will join a team of four other surgical attendings in the Division of Acute Care Surgery. Surgeons will rotate through the 13-bed Surgical ICU and Emergency General Surgery services. The right candidate will have a strong commitment to medical student and resident education. Interest in translational and/or clinical research is also desirable.
