A correctional facility is seeking a psychiatrist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately 3 months from early September to late December with the possibility of an extension. On a typical day, the locum will see fifteen to 20 patients per day for a variety of psychiatric cases including MDD, anxiety, Schizophrenia, various behavioral / social problems, and mostly suicidal thoughts. This is a full-time position requiring the provider to work 40 hours at the minimum. This facility will provide EMR training.
