Exceptional opportunity for a board eligible/board certified hematologist/oncologist with expertise in benign and malignant hematology to join a busy seven-person QOPI-certified hematology/oncology private practice. Anticipated responsibilities 70% hematology/30% oncology. The practice is located in in Fairfield County, Connecticut in a single site cancer center physically located within a new, state-of-the-art community teaching hospital associated with an Ivy league medical school. Collaborative member of an NCI-designated cancer hospital network. Robust clinical research program. Faculty appointment with a major medical school available. Teaching responsibilities at both the resident and medical student levels. Excellent compensation and benefits package including health and liability insurance, vacation, and pension plan. Four-day work week, every eighth weekend on-call schedule. Excellent support staff with nurse practitioners, RNs, nurse navigators, research nurses, data managers, genetics counselor, and pharmacists.
