A Georgia-based medical facility needs locum tenens orthopedic surgery coverage. The locum tenens physician will work 4 days a week in the clinic and 1 day per week in the operating room. The provider will be on a 1:2 call schedule. Procedures include general orthopedics focused mostly on joints, sports, and some community trauma. This facility uses the Meditech EMR system. Candidates who can work full-time are preferred, but part-time candidates may also be considered depending on qualifications and scheduling flexibility. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible within three years. We will provide assistance with all hospital privileging paperwork.
