The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our growing team. Successful candidates will be ABR-eligible or board certified and will have completed a dedicated thoracic and/or cardiac imaging fellowship.
At Northwell, Cardiothoracic Radiologists have both clinical and academic responsibilities. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical care. Academic responsibilities involve teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at the tertiary centers. Academic appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with the level of experience. There are also many opportunities to engage in innovative research.
Northwell’s Cardiothoracic Division consists of six fellowship-trained radiologists who are actively involved in teaching, research, and leadership in local and national professional societies. Cardiac and chest CTs and MRs are interpreted at multiple tertiary and community hospitals throughout the health system as well as at ten outpatient imaging facilities stretching from Manhattan to the east end of Long Island. The division is also active in the training of 40 radiology residents, engages in extensive research activities, and participates in multidisciplinary clinical conferences and tumor boards.
