The Division of Rheumatology at the Columbia University School of Physicians & Surgeons seeks a candidate at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The candidate will be expected to have a major commitment and demonstrated excellence in the clinical care of patients with rheumatic disease. Experience and excellence in research, including but not limited to clinical trials, is an added benefit but not required. Experience and certification in articular ultrasonography is preferred but not required. Will perform the medical service and teaching duties of a rheumatology faculty member. The applicant should be proficient in all areas of instruction for medical students, residents and fellows, which include the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, physical diagnosis, diagnostic procedures and patient interaction. Candidate will have additional teaching duties and will also provide independent study opportunities to medical students, residents and fellows. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree.  M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree is required. Candidate must be board certified in internal medicine and board certified or eligible in the Rheumatology subspecialty and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Experience and certification in articular ultrasonography is preferred but not required.
