A clinic in Georgia needs a family practice physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately six months from mid-August through the beginning of September. Candidates should have experience with community service and working in public health settings with refugee patients. On the job, the provider will be responsible for seeing cases involving annual well visits, immunizations, hypertension, diabetes, chronic care management, health checks, and Medicare and Medicaid. On a typical day, the locum will see between 18 and 22 patients of all ages. This is a full-time position requiring the provider to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This facility uses the Athena Health EMR and will provide training.
