JOB TITLE: Medical Director, Mobile Integrated HealthLOCATION: Geisinger Medical Center DEPARTMENT: Geisinger at HomeWORK TYPE: FULL TIME Geisinger, a national leader in healthcare innovation, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Emergency Medicine trained physician to serve as the Director of Mobile Integrated Health for the division of Emergency Medicine Service, Division of Emergency Medicine services. In addition to maintaining an active clinical practice, the Director will also be responsible for the oversight and coordination of Mobile Integrated Health at Geisinger, which includes the development of our growing Mobile Health Paramedic (MHP) Program, a unique, at-home care delivery model. In the MHP program, our talented team of paramedics perform a growing number of progressive clinical interventions outside of the traditional 911 role, to provide better patient care and an improved patient experience. MIH is one of the pillars of Geisinger Health’s home care strategy. Professional EMS experience required (with exposure to MIH/CP), EMS fellowship training and/or EMS board certification preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated expertise and commitment to safety, process improvement, proven leadership skills, an ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and a strong patient centered focus.
