The Department of Dermatology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Northwell Health is seeking a BC/BE dermatologist to immediately join the full time faculty and hold the position of Director in Cosmetics. The department is comprised of 20 physicians and 12 resident physicians, with its anchor facility based in Lake Success, New York, just 20 miles east of Manhattan.  

In this leadership position, the candidate will direct the strategic, quality and operational initiatives on behalf of the service. There are opportunities to incorporate investigator initiated and industry sponsored trials. The position also includes opportunities to lead didactics and clinical training in cosmetics for the training program. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, as well as experience in teaching. Advanced training in Cosmetics is preferred. Salary is competitive and commensurate with academic rank and qualifications. The health system offers a generous package of fringe benefits.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
