GENERAL GI FACULTY POSITION
Albany Medical College
The Division of Gastroenterology at the Albany Medical College is recruiting general gastroenterology faculty. Interests in motility, small bowel disease would be appreciated but not required. The division is composed of 8 faculty physicians, 5 nurse practitioners and GI fellows. Colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiology, four pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists, an onsite infusion unit and multiple endoscopy units complement the program. There is ongoing NIH and industry supported IBD research. The Albany Medical College is adjacent to the 700 bed medical center. Regional demand for complex GI patients is high and would ensure an interesting practice on day one.
The Division of Gastroenterology has an accredited 9 person GI Fellowship Program. The Endoscopy Suite is equipped with state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies with anesthesia support for most patients. Endoscopy staff supports 24/7.
Benefits in brief: generous personal leave, CME support, pension and 403b plans
