Radiation Oncology

DETAILS The AIS Cancer Center at Adventist Health Bakersfield is actively seeking a mission-minded BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to join its growing team at a busy and thriving multi-specialty, state of the art cancer center. This clinic is located on the hospital campus, just steps away from the Quest Imaging Center and Outpatient Surgery Center. The incoming physician would be employed through our affiliated medical group. Schedule is 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate must be trained in all modern radiation modalities/techniques/technologies, including IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT and HDR. A preference will be given to a candidate with experience/expertise in HDR implantation for prostate and gynecologic tumors. Both experienced physicians and new grads will be considered. Candidates must be comfortable communicating with referring physicians, have the drive and motivation to build a practice in a competitive market, and be interested in taking an active role in the community. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards. Must also possess a DEA license.
