The TriHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency is the largest training program in Southwest Ohio. It is comprised of 32 residents, 28 full-time faculty members (11 MFM's, 4 Gyn Oncs, 4 Urogyn's, 3 Reproductive Endocrinologists, 6 Generalists) and over 50 privately practicing OB/GYN's. TriHealth's flagship hospitals, Bethesda North and Good Samaritan, are the primary sites for the program.

TriHealth Women's Services line is responsible for 10,000+ deliveries per year, with the residency program contributing nearly twenty-five percent (25%) of the delivery volume. Busy gynecologic surgery practices based at our Bethesda North, Good Samaritan and Evendale hospitals strongly support resident training as well. Additionally, the department works closely with the Hatton Institute, a fully funded research center located within TriHealth. TriHealth also offers a Simulation Center, a minimally invasive surgery training program and a teaching center for Robotic-assisted surgery.

TriHealth was formed in 1995, bringing together two of Cincinnati's finest health care organizations, Bethesda and Good Samaritan hospitals. Through these two acute care hospitals, our community hospitals, Bethesda Butler and McCullough Hyde Memorial, and Evendale Medical Hospital along with our more than 130 other sites of care, TriHealth provides a wide range of clinical, educational, preventive and social programs. Additional services include physician practice management, fitness centers and fitness center management, occupational health centers, home health and hospice care.
