Albany Medical College

The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the Albany Medical College is recruiting faculty to its established Liver program.  The program is staffed by 2 expert hepatologists, nurse providers and GI fellows.  Proficient hepatobiliary surgeons, therapeutic endoscopy, Interventional radiology, GI pathologists, and an endoscopy center complement the program.  There is ongoing NIH and industry supported research in the division. 

Regional demand for expertise in hepatology is high and would ensure a subspecialty practice on day one.

The Division of Gastroenterology has an accredited 9 person GI Fellowship Program.  The Endoscopy Suite is equipped with state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies with anesthesia support for patients with advanced liver disease.  Endoscopy staff supports 24/7.
