A hospital in Michigan needs an urgent care physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for three months from the beginning of May to the beginning of August. The locum will see a variety of cases, including asthma, broken bones and sprains, rashes and burns, bronchitis, minor cuts, bladder infections, nausea, school and sports physicals, skin infections, drug and alcohol screenings, work exams, work-related injuries, vaccinations, upper respiratory infections, and pregnancy. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between 30 and 60 patients of all ages. The locum will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This facility uses the Athena Health EMR and will provide training.
