Internal Medicine Residency Program Director/Clinic Director
Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a board certified internist to direct the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the IM Residency Clinic at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. The position will be responsible for administering and maintaining an educational environment conducive to educating the residents in each of the ACGME competencies, complying with the institution’s written policies and procedures, including those specified in the Institutional Requirements for selection, evaluation, and promotion of residents, disciplinary action, and supervision of residents; and being familiar with and complying with ACGME and Review Committee requirements as outlined in the ACGME Program Requirements for Graduate Medical Education in Internal Medicine. In addition to the Program Director responsibilities the position will also be responsible for the oversight of the IM Residency Clinic.
MD or DO Degree with current certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or specialty qualifications that are acceptable to the Review Committee. Minimum of five years of participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine program, and at least three years of graduate medical education administrative experience. The ability to work collaboratively with the community physicians. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.
