The Yale Section of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine is seeking a candidate for a position as an MD, Director of Population Health and Health Care System Research at the Yale-New Haven Hospital Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation at the rank of Associate Professor.

The ideal candidate would have expertise in population health, operational leadership experience within a major health care system, evidence of ability to collaborate with national academic groups, and experience with advanced analytic approaches. The candidate should also have an outstanding record of academic achievement with real-world evidence, including longitudinal cohort studies. Expertise in epidemiology, statistics, and health policy is required. The candidate will be charged with growing a program that produces scholarship of relevance to population health and health care system performance – and to link it to practical applications locally, nationally, and internationally. Candidates must qualify for faculty appointment at Yale University School of Medicine at a level commensurate with experience.
