Position Description

Seattle, Washington -- Swedish, a part of the Providence St. Joseph Health system, is seeking an IBD fellowship trained BE/BC Gastroenterologist. Full-time position. Highly competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. Three to five years of experience is preferred, but new graduates will be considered. This opportunity with Swedish Gastroenterology will lead a new IBD Center at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. Swedish Gastroenterology is a 20 physician, seven midlevel employed group with a growing consultative practice that combines tertiary/quaternary referral care, including a large, established colorectal program, liver transplantation, cancer center, therapeutic ERCP/EUS, deep enteroscopy, etc., with GI care for a large, well-established primary care network, all in and around Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The IBD Center seeks to centralize and improve care of complex IBD and expand access to clinical trials and state-of-the-art therapies. Join a collaborative, well-trained group of providers and support staff committed to providing the highest level of GI care. * ERCP and EUS skills not required * Independently functioning IBD center within a large GI group * Hospital medicine and all major subspecialty support
