To match its phenomenal growth, the Musculoskeletal Institute at Geisinger, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education is seeking board-certified/board-eligible fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeons for Geisinger Wyoming Valley and Geisinger Community Medical Center.  

 

Geisinger Community Medicine Center; located in Scranton, Pa., is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II trauma center in Lackawanna County.

 

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 274 beds, and houses the only Level II Trauma center in Luzerne County.

 

Geisinger’s Musculoskeletal Institute has 74 physicians and over 650 employees providing comprehensive care for patients with physical medicine & rehabilitation, orthopedic foot and ankle, hand and wrist, elbow and shoulder, hip and knee, sports medicine, trauma and cancer conditions. The mission of the Musculoskeletal Institute is to provide the highest-quality patient care, to improve mobility and to enhance the quality of life for all, while advancing the science of orthopedic surgery and its related disciplines through research and education.
