A new locum tenens orthopedic surgery opportunity is now available at a government facility in Arizona. You must be comfortable with general and emergent orthopedic procedures. The assignment schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm with after-hour call, and the physician will see 2-3 patients per hour. The EMR is IHS RPMS. The covering physician must be board certified with BLS and ACLS certification. You need to have an active AZ state license for this assignment. Indian Health Service and tribal health care facilities provide a comprehensive health service delivery system for approximately 2.1 million American Indians and Alaska Natives, most of whom live on or near reservations and in rural communities. This government facility accepts your current license, regardless of the location of the facility.
