Chair, Department of Dermatology

The Department of Dermatology at Cleveland Clinic Florida Weston is currently seeking a well-qualified Chair of Dermatology. This faculty position will provide leadership and oversight for the delivery of high quality care throughout the Cleveland Clinic facilities in Florida.

The successful Board Certified candidate will join a dynamic leadership team that is coordinating clinical care, research, education, and growth of Cleveland Clinic Florida dermatology services in collaboration with the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Institute in Cleveland Clinic Ohio.

The Chair will be responsible for overall leadership of the department, including operational, fiscal, educational and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate include:

  • Embrace the clinical culture of Patients First and focus on Access, Quality, Safety and the Patient Experience
  • Strong Leadership skills and experience of successfully managing and mentoring physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Develop regional alliances/networks and actively participate in CC Florida strategic planning
  • Outstanding communication skills to foster alignment with the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Institute and CC Florida leadership teams, with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary care
  • Grow the Department of Dermatology service lines, including Mohs Surgery
